Before Watchmen Comedian #5

Brian Azzarello drops The Comedian into Vietnam, and predictably the concept of total war is notched up. If this was a new character I wouldn't mind The Comedian’s view on life given here. But its not, and for me his stated views, as given by Brian, does not agree with my own vision of the Comedian from The Watchmen. These Before Watchmen books do far better, in my opinion, in showing previous situations that occurred to the characters, rather than trying to define them by stating intrinsic motivations. This series just crossed that line, and I don’t like it.
