Reviews

Risen from the dead, this comic still attempts to break new ground, but does it work? In its creation it does, where project KickStarter help fund this comic as a free digital download, and as a free comic, and the people who helped out in this regard are listed at the end. Fantastic idea, really, but the actual story is important, too, right? So, an acknowledgement: I didn't read the original stuff, created 20 years ago, about CyberForce ( hate the title, and that was enough to keep me away), but with my ignorance comes a fresh perspective. For good points, I liked the first few pages, with the off-and-running action, and Silvestri introduces the major characters, one-by-one, as we construe their importance on things. Yet chases and actions and fly-by characters aren't enough, and we NEED something to drive them, to show us what they want...and what I feel we NEED, we mostly don't get, since the brawls aren't explored and the characters are there to be, what, just cool-looking visuals, and, come on, what we really NEED is action, action, action, I guess... Still, the price is good, and let's give it a go, shall we?
