What If? Brian Michael Bendis was writing the best Superman titles since John Byrne? What If? Dan Slott was writing the best F.F. since John Byrne? One of those is definitely true, the other seems to be on it's way. After a lukewarm beginning, this run has become another example of Marvel succeeding at being all Fresh and Starty. Not only that, it references Al Ewing's Ultimates book, which means that at least some of the writers are talking to each other. Perhaps the thing that Marvel was missing was a semblance of continuity, because they're certainly not missing Axel Alonso. Highly recommended for fans of @theREALdrdoom, those who miss the Ultimates, and anyone who's ever waited for Willy Lumpkin to bring a No-Prize to their mailbox.
