VERY FINE/NEAR MINT

(W) Joshua Williamson
(A) Christian Duce
(CA) Rafael Sandoval, Jordi Tarragona

The Flash is running himself ragged trying to learn about the new forces, but all it's done is tear his life apart. Now that he's back from his Force Quest and home in Central City, he finds that the city was just fine without him, better even! His home is crime-free, and it doesn't need the Flash anymore! But where has Commander Cold gone? Barry races to find him and hopefully figure out what's happened while he was away!

Reviews

Writer Joshua Williamson does what I thought I might never see again. His reintroduction of the Trickster (the official James Jesse version) actually reads like a 1970's issue of the Flash! And I for one couldn't be happier. While Barry feels his speed fading in the hunt for Commander Cold, the rest of the world is going super creepy happy like in the Stepford Wives. And what is it exactly that the Trickster want from the good Commander's future knowledge? An interesting storyline begins here and with cameos by Opal City, the Dark Church of the Black Hand, and Hunter Zolomon, things are looking good.
