Frankenstein Underground #3 (2015)

Mignola's Frankenstein's monster, much like the original, is a deeply saddening tale of a misunderstood man-thing, and I don't want this series to be any other way. After being referenced in countless Mignola books, we get a deeper insight into the Heliopic Brotherhood and the Hollow Earth, which to many huge BPRD fans is big news. In this issue we get a heavy dose of awesome fight scenes by Ben Stenbeck, some undead Victorian-era children and an ethereal virgin Mary giving our misunderstood hero advice. Mignola and the artists on his books do nothing if not deliver excellent stories every time. I don't know how many times I have to talk up this book - and other Hellboy-related books - but they're all worthy of undying praise.
