Cautiously, I'd give this an 8. We don't know where its going yet and its just the first issue.

Optimistically I'd give it a 10 and declare it the next 'Immortal Hulk'.

I don't think that comparison is an accident. I think that's what Marvel is trying to make here, given they've got another man with a monster inside.

Benjamin Percy dishes out exposition in a solid framing device that allows for those Oh So Many words to get mixed into the storytelling, ALA Al Ewing. Cory Smith gets to mingle the mundane with the monstrous, just like Joe Bennett did on I.H.

If you know everything about the character, the conceit of a Ghost Rider, this works. If you know NOTHING about those, this works. That makes for a strong start for this series.
