Reviews

Following the jaw dropping events from last issue I was hesitant to see what was in store for our hero Mark. I mean how much more can one guy take. Currently stuck in world that is not his own, Invincible must every resource he can scare up to stay alive long enough to get home. Being set in a parallel universe, we readers are treated to some good callbacks from older storylines, and see some sides of characters we haven't seen in a very long time. This new storyline is a swift kick in the pants for a series that was beginning to stall out, with the character growth slowing down for so long it's good to see Mark have to think on his feet & have a real emergency to deal with. Invincible has always had a knack for making people genuinely concerned for the characters within it's pages and right now this is as on edge as the book has ever been. With pre-constructed notions of characters we though we knew being shattered left and right it is a very exciting and almost scary time to be an Invincible fan, and it is AWESOME! THIS IS WE WE READ EVERY MONTH!
