BONUS REVIEW by RICK BERG

I really wanted to like this book. I love Thor. I love Galactus and enjoy the Silver Surfer (Terrax is the only herald for me). I worship at the altar of Olivier Copiel, next to Simonson and Samnee, he is my favorite Thor artist ever. He just gets how to portray the larger than life world of Thor. Yet somehow I did not like this issue too much. What could it be? Oh I remember. It’s another disjointed story by Matt Fraction. Where do I start? How about Odin and Thor like each other? Not according to your other books Matt. Why do Asgardians need Micronaut suits to enter the World Tree? Why does Thor (who can fly) need a chain to help him get out of it? Didn’t Baldur, Tyr and forgettable villains just get stuck inside the World Tree (two weeks ago) and not need these things. Only kid Loki has the balls to go help? Uhmm, in the interest of selling this, the Silver Surfer stuff looks freaking amazing. Buy it.
