VERY FINE/NEAR MINT

Written by BRIAN MICHAEL BENDIS Pencils & Cover by LEINIL FRANCIS YU

It’s the throwdown of the year. The New Avengers versus the Hood's gang of super-villains, bloody, angry and shocking to the end. But still they have to ask: WHO DO YOU TRUST??

"OH MY GOD, did we not JUST get a whole issue of action/unattributed narration? And now we get the SAME thing? But hey, at least the half of the narration is from The Wrecker! That’s ALWAYS worth spotlighting! Man, I mean, I know that a Bendis book HAS to have talky narration spilling from every single $%^&ing panel, but can it maybe, possibly, please please please contribute one ONE $%^&ing thing to the story next time? Please? It has gotten to the point where I’m no longer convinced that Bendis understands that his scripts are drawn by an artist, rather than just released as text files to fans everywhere. Why else would he need to have clichéd-seven-years-ago back-and-forth narration tell us the thing that not only can we SEE IN THE PANEL BENEATH THE NARRATION, but actually figured out LAST ISSUE?! It is the rookie-est of rookie writer mistakes (see: Kevin Smith’s first Daredevil arc), and it’s completely unacceptable from a guy who’s been in the industry this long."
