BONUS REVIEW by GARY OWENS

For cover-to-cover slugfests, for classic monsters like Frankenstein and The Creature from The Black Lagoon, and for scenes of brutal vengeance in the vein of Eastwood and Bronson, nothing beats this issue this month. Nothing! Nothing! I mean it…I admit I haven’t read EVERY issue that came out this month, but what’s the likelihood? Yeah, I could say something about the cool first person voice that Remender used, or the gritty, twisted art by Moore that sent this issue over-the-top, but really, what’s the likelihood of any other comic having the combination of those 3 factors THIS month? Zero, I tell you. Zero. And that’s what made this book so cool.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
