VERY FINE/NEAR MINT

Written by GARTH ENNIS Penciled by GORAN PARLOV
Cover by TIM BRADSTREET

“LONG COLD DARK,” PART 4 Her name is Sarah, and she’s the only thing that’s good and pure in Frank Castle’s life. The problem? Barracuda’s got her – and payback is on his mind. He’s bigger, stronger, faster, and more ruthless than his nemesis. But Frank's got one thing that Barracuda doesn’t.

"This issue, excellent like you always get when Garth Ennis and Goran Parlov team-up, does have one thing in it I’m not exactly thrilled by: Barracuda gets a motivation and an ‘origin’. I’m not sure I want ‘force of nature’ types like ‘Cuda to have some sort ‘Barracuda: Year One’ kind of defining event. Still, it’s not about him wearing a nightshirt in a Canadian mansion, and it’s only four pages long, but yeah. You don’t need to humanize or explain Barracuda. He’s doing fine without that."
