VERY FINE/NEAR MINT

by Dixon, Blackburn, Ortiz & DeCarlo

Moe could use a little bartenderly advice of his own when his past, in the form of the long lost Syzslak clan, catches up with him. But will this lost and found saga reunite Moe with the family he longs for, or will it prove to be another opportunity for life to kick him in the teeth?

BONUS REVIEW by GARY OWENS

Nothing beats an origin tale, and the origin of Moe, from the cartoon series The Simpsons, has long been coming. Why does Moe have that ugly mug? Does Moe have any brothers or sisters? And, most importantly, why does Moe look like an adult Richie Rich on the cover (maybe that’s his secret origin)? The Simpsons show has been renewed again, extending their record as the longest running animated show (not to mention longest running sitcom…sorry, Married With Children). And with a parody of The Spirit featuring Homer coming out soon, it’s all good. Just needed a bit more of the Comic Book Guy…but maybe his origin will be next issue.

I give it 7 out of 10 Grahams
