The death of Spider Island is only the tip of the iceberg in this explosive march towards the end of the Superior Spider-Man. Everything is movement in this issue, whether its goblins on the march(you pick your favorite...I'm a Hobgoblin man, myself) destroying all that 'Spidey' has built up to protect New York, Peter's family and friends working towards escape routes, movement of a large chess piece by a surprise player, or movement through the mind of a madman as Peter tries to keep Otto from discovering that he's back. This is all told very well, but is much stronger on the visual front due to Camuncoli being here instead of Humberto Ramos. He's super sharp this issue. Even if you don't read the book, be sure to flip through the double page spreads featuring spider legs and octopus arms- they're terrific.
