Written by BRIAN MICHAEL BENDIS Pencils & Cover by STUART IMMONEN

Green Goblin vs. Spider-Man... the final round?? Norman Osborn has come to the realization that Peter Parker is his legacy --- the living reminder of his unparalleled genius. All he wants Peter to do is to reveal to the world that it was he, Norman, who created Spider-Man. If young Parker will do this, all will be forgiven. If not, everyone that Peter loves will be destroyed! Will Peter give in to this simple but twisted demand? And what of Norman's own progeny, his son Harry? Be there for the latest chapter in the Spider-Man vs. Green Goblin saga!

"Remember what I said about last issue of USM? Yeah, me neither. So I dug it out and here’s what I put: ‘It’s like catching a unicorn that can cure cancer AND change your tires: a Bendis comic with the perfect ratio of talking to action. And magically, this is it. Turns out super-duper-crazy bad guys like Norman Osborn aren’t great at lying low, but Spidey’s too busy getting badly interrogated by Ultimate Carol Danvers to be much help in catching him. The funny parts are funny, the dramatic parts are dramatic, and nothing wears out its welcome. I love you, once-in-a-lifetime unicorn…’ Well, this must be like catching a unicorn that’s being ridden by a leprechaun and chased by World Peace, because the perfect Bendis comic got MORE PERFECTER. Which, according to Word’s spellcheck is the correct spelling of ‘perfecter’. It’s gotta be in caps, though, fair warning. Yup, USM is officially the Best Spider-Man Comic right now, and I would dare anyone who hates the talky garbage in any issue of New Avengers (which would be me) not to be psyched-with-a-capital-p Psyched by the menace, dread, and dreadly menace found in the talky final six pages of this issue. And next issue? IT’S ON! Prepare yourself for next month’s PERFECTEST Bendis comic, Internet."
