I'm not a fan of the Deadpool Avengers, but I've liked the premise for Standoff. That leads us here, and the results were surprisingly pleasant. We're outside Pleasant Hill, with the Wrecker hauling holy h*ll away from that charming little town. The Uncanny Avengers decide to stop him. SHIELD decides to stop the U.A., and everyone decides to stop SHIELD, including Maria Hill, who is then stopped by Maria Hill. Whaa...? All in all, it was pretty good issue. The art by Ryan Stegman is clean in that Ed McGuinness way, and Gerry Duggan manages to put words that matter in mouths other than Deadpool's.
