The hunters become the hunted as the X-Men let the Hellfire Cult know they won't be going down without a fight.  Beast brings a special guest star to visit the Cult's latest victim.  Cyclops and Karma chalk up a victim of their own.  Nightcrawler's extracurricular activities are brought to light.  And learn, for the first time, what Wolverine listens to while fixing his car.  All this and the team leaps into battle against the Cult in a full-frontal assault...the prize, San Francisco!

REVIEW by Brian Fisher

I’m loving the X-Men right now. It’s about time they did away with the pacifism and kid-gloves. It’s about time the survival of the species took precedent over the peaceful resolution of conflict. And I’m loving the brutal new tactics that the X-Men are employing. A new threat has emerged: the Hellfire Cult. And they intend to make life in San Francisco a living hell for its new mutant residents. But the all new, all ass-kicking X-Men aren’t going to take that lying down. This story is so good I’m even overlooking Greg Land’s artwork, which honestly, with each new issue is bothering me less and less. There are actually even some strokes of brilliance in his art. Actual brilliance. This book is just too good to pass up.

I give it 9 out of 10 Grahams
