VERY FINE/NEAR MINT

Written by Ed Brubaker, penciled by Clayton Henry and cover by John Watson..

"The Rise and Fall of the Shi'ar Empire," part 3 of 12. Vulcan is mad. So mad he's planning on destroying an entire intergalactic empire. The third Summers brother has set his sites on the Shi'Ar Empire, and when he's finished with them, nothing will ever be the same!

BONUS REVIEW by DAL BUSH

Dude, what's the deal? This issue is entirely focused on Vulcan, the lamest X-villain this side of Moses Magnum. But this book wasn't completely terrible! Oh, I see it now. "Clayton Henry: Penciller" Bingo! It's never good when the fill-in guy is better than the monthly artist, and that's the case this time out. Unfortunately, this is still an all-Vulcan issue, so don't expect too much storywise. So, the lackluster story averages out the better art. That keeps this book right in the midrange at 6 Grahams.
